Team Welch: Linda & Mark

Marie and I have been getting together every Thursday night since I can remember. It started back in high school and has been going on ever since. This past Thurs was really nice - Laura, Jeff & Dylan came over and so did my parents. Blarney was sooo tired out, the second he left he passed out. It was great! Marie and I watched Real Housewives of NJ, which was so good - I love reality tv! Tori & Dean is another of my favorites!

Mark and I went to a rummage sale on Saturday AM at a local church. I didn't find anything at the rummage sale, but did at the bake sale - oh yeah homemade cookies. I only bought one ziplock baggie of a dozen, and I wished I had gotten two. On the way out of the parking lot, we saw a garage sale so we stopped. I got one thing, and on the way home from that we saw two more sales. We stopped at those two and then asked someone about all the sales. It turns out that Seven hills had a city-wide sale of over 100 houses. We went to a few, but then they died out so we headed home.

My friends and I went to The Honey Hut for The Destroyer. It's 10 scoops of ice cream with 4 toppings and 3 dollups of whipped cream. It really wasn't that big and we put a hurting on it and ate it in a flash. It was great seeing them, it had been a while since we had all gotten together. Time goes by so fast when we hang out. I'm looking forward to our Indians game since it's on a Friday we can stay out a little later and hang out.

I chipped my fricking front tooth! It's not as bad on the front side, but the back side is kinda mesed up. My two front teeth got chipped when I was little and have bonding on the bottoms, so I didn't actually chip the tooth, just the bonding. I have a dentist appt in a week so I'll get it fixed then. I did it with my key while putting my sun glasses on my head. AHH!

Last Friday Mark and I went over to his friend Dave & fiancee Kelly's house. Their Great Bernese Mountain Dog, Dakota, is so much fun. She's still a puppy, a 85 pound puppy, but still a puppy. Blarney looked smaller when I got home that night.

Our yard is looking up. The new grass we planted is about 85% coverage and the few bald patches will easily be fixed in the fall. The new grass is neon green and looks funny next to the existing grass though. All my new plants are coming up too.

Since I've been keeping Dylan at my house later on Saturday afternoons, I asked Crystal if we could have a play date. Her and her mom were going to this development wide garage sale so Dylan and I went with them. It was a lot of fun, and I got Dylan a few toys. I got some cookbooks. One of the toys I got D was a crockodile xylophone. He loved it. After the sale we went to a Burger King with a play palace inside. Dylan cried when I put the xylophone down to got into BK, so we brought it in with us. Dylan couldn't play on a lot of the playground stuff, he was too small, but he did have fun on the two layers he played in. Peyton climbed all the way to the top and then Dylan and I would wait for him to come down the slide. At the end, he said "Dylan come to Peyton's house" so cute! Oh, another cute thing he said was in response to me telling Crystal and Shirley that Dylan climbed out of his crib - Dylan is a big boy. That may be true, Peyton, but he still needs to sleep in his crib a little while longer. On the way home, D fell alseep holding the xylophone. It looked uncomfortable so I took it and put it on the seat next to him. He woke up long enough to fuss until I gave it back to him, and he promptly fell back asleep holding it. Looking forward to our next playdate, Crystal.

Happy Birthday to Marie's mom MaryAnn - who turned 60 earlier this month.

We went out to Outback for Father's Day with Mark's side. It was great for all of us to get together. Lori is looking so cute with her baby belly. Aidan and Evan were very well behaved and had fun. Caitlyn and Brandon are getting so big!

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful life!!
