Lake Farm Park

Laura & Jeff took Dylan to Lake Farm Park during their vacation week. Dylan LOVES animals!!

Update - random thoughts

• Went to a birthday party for one of my good friend’s husbands.
• Got some very exciting news (two pieces of good news actually) from another good friend.
• Got some more good news (again-two pieces) from another friend.
• Went to the Indians game on Friday with all my friends. They lost and I barely saw 5 pitches thrown, but the fireworks afterwards were great.
• Had a playdate with Peyton and Gracie. Dylan was equally excited to play with Gracie as he was Peyton. Peyton showed me each and every of his toys, bringing each one of them out. I truly think he has enough cars and trains to go around the world once. He also has a ton of dinosaur toys and calls each of them by their proper name.
• Had a great family cookout (yes, it was two weeks late, but who cares) for Fourth of July with my family.
• Got to see several cities fireworks – Brookpark was the best so far. Seven Hills is next week
• Marie has no “overdue” items on her theknot.com wedding checklist
• Blarney went to the vet and was given a complete healthy diagnosis.
• I haven’t been on the motorcycle yet (in fact not sure I was on it last year once) but Mark’s been riding to work daily. He loves it, especially since he has such a long drive.
• Took Dylan to fireworks on July 3rd. We got there about 5 minutes before they started and sat pretty far away in case he freaked out. He had a good time – loved people watching too. That’s my godson!
• I’m still sick of watering my flowers, but almost all the new seedlings I planted in our new bed outside the shed are growing and blooming. I love the bleeding heart. The deer haven’t found those yet, but have found the rest of our yard. Why can’t they eat the weeds?? My butterfly (aka bee) bush is about 5 feet long and the deer don’t eat it.
• Laura signed Dylan up for Gymboree. The membership is for the child, so anyone can take him. I hope to take him one day soon and will post pics. Laura said he likes it.
• Took Dylan out to Aurora Farms for a Corvette show dad was in. Dylan liked watching the ducks most of all.
• Got my chipped front tooth fixed

Put In Bay

Marie & I went to Put-In-Bay last Friday. Marie's post about sums up our trip so check it out here Yes, I was terrified of the butterflies when they were dive bombing me! We each had a margarita at the world's smallest margarita bar - seating capacity 2.



I chased this dang one for a long time to get him to spread his wings so I could see the blue underneath.




Marie had two of them land on her. Thank goodness they stayed off me.





This is the nicest and largest outdoors public restroom I've ever had the pleasure of peeing in.
